The Municipal Executive Administration is responsible for several different areas of operation. These areas include both support and assistance to other administrations as well as activities aimed directly at residents and visitors. The common thread for us working within the municipal executive is that we enjoy contributing to an attractive community for our residents.

AMN works towards the common goal of reducing unemployment and getting more people into self-sufficiency.

The target group you will work with consists of job seekers aged 16-64 who are referred to us from social assistance, the Employment Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, the Region, and other collaborating authorities. The work is carried out based on each individual’s needs and conditions to facilitate their transition from unemployment to internships, work, or a return to studies.

Your Responsibilities

As a supervisor in our workshop, you will guide participants towards the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency. We work based on developed processes where different teams either work with employers or with job seekers. We often use the Ovanåkers model based on the IPS method and have several SE coaches that we connect together to create the best possible team around our participants.

You will work with participants and be responsible for planning, follow-up, and documentation of interventions, focusing on sustainable solutions towards work or studies. A holistic perspective is required where transitions towards work and self-sufficiency are in focus. You will also conduct conversations based on the participants' needs. The conversations may, for example, involve stress management, mental training, coaching, and health pedagogy, both with individual employees and in groups.

Follow-up and documentation are important parts of the work. You will also have a role in the various projects we conduct together with other actors, such as the Employment Agency, Health Center, and the Social Insurance Agency. All of this is done together with other employees at AMN.

Experience

You should have experience working with people who are or have been in vulnerable situations.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have CBT training, MI training, training as a drug therapist, or other similar education.

It is essential that you see the whole person and believe in the participant, and can help them believe in themselves to take the next step towards the ultimate goal of achieving self-sufficiency.
